We collect the basics needed to take your order, ship it, and keep your account working — name, email, shipping address, and payment info (handled securely by our payment processor, not stored by us). We don't sell your data. Ever.

What we collect

Identity: Name, email — for account & order management
Shipping: Address, phone — for getting your order to you
Payment: Last 4 digits, billing zip — processed via Shopify Payments / our payment provider, full card data never touches our servers
Browsing: Pages viewed, cart activity, device type — for improving the site and fixing bugs
Marketing (optional): Email opt-in status — for sending updates, only if you said yes

Send order confirmations and shipping updates
Respond when you reach out to support
Improve the site based on how people actually use it
Send marketing emails — only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe anytime

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information, period. We do share it with a short list of trusted partners who help us run the store:

Shopify — our store platform and payment processing
Shipping carriers — to deliver your order
Email service — for order updates and (opt-in) marketing

We'll also share info if legally required to — think court orders, not random requests.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic. Essential cookies keep the site functional; you can block non-essential ones in your browser settings, though some features might not work as smoothly.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and order data as long as your account is active, plus a bit longer for tax and accounting purposes (usually a few years, as required by law). Want it deleted sooner? Just ask.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Just email support@tonmode.com and we'll sort it out — usually within 30 days.

Kids

Tonmode isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you're a parent and think your kid signed up, let us know and we'll remove it.

International shoppers

We're based in the US, so if you're shopping from elsewhere, your data gets processed here. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure no matter where it travels.

Security

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and trusted, audited platforms (like Shopify) to keep your data safe. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we take this seriously.
